Dungeon Mechanics
Dungeon Mechanics
Like most dungeons, Lair of the Spider Queen has many weaker enemies before sending the strongest enemy at you, which in this case is Spider Queen. Normally, you would pick a specific combat style to fight the enemies to get the full advantage of the combat triangle, but in this dungeon, you can't. Spider Queen has a unique mechanic where they will have a random combat triangle each time. Similarly, the 19 weaker enemies before it are randomised in a way which again, makes the combat styles random. This part isn't very important since the heavy hitter in the dungeon is the last enemy. Since the random combat style gimmick is the only reason this dungeon is difficult to many, it is actually rather simple to manually clear.

Things that greatly impact KPH
As many combat bonuses from Astrology constellations are recommended, but not required. In total, Astrology serves as a massive buff to combat and will make the fight easier. The main bonuses are:
* Agility - Will allow for less skill levels in Hitpoints and switch the Point of Interest to Bandit Hideout - Increases KPH by about 2.
** If Prayer & Hitpoints are also obtained on top of Agility - Swap  Bandit Hideout back to The Shimmering Oasis and change Holy Aegis to Battleborn - Increases KPH by about 1.5.
* Astrology - Max out Ashtar - Increases KPH by about 1.3.
* Collecting all base-game Pets - Increases KPH by about 0,5.
* AoDEradicating Gloves (m) - Direct upgrade to Glacia God Gloves - Increases KPH by about 1.
* AoDPower Crystals - Direct Upgrade to Fervor Scroll - Increases KPH by anout 1.

Idle Gear
Idle Gear
* Note that if you are consistently running gear on the right hand side of the table, you may need to check your setup with the Combat Sim mod. You may also need to squeeze in more dr through the use of Yak synergies and using Stone Skin instead of Battleborn.
* This setup was tweaked for the absolute minimum to idle Spider Queen at reasonable levels & gear and assumes all recommended levels and buffs. This starts off with only 2 kills per hour, there's several way to increase the KPH.
* Corundum Crossbow performs better than Shockwave. If you are unable to obtain the Divine Crossbow, use the highest level crossbow you can obtain.
* If AoDAtlas of Discovery Expansion is owned, you can replace Fervor Scroll for Power Crystals and/or replace Glacia God Gloves for Eradicating Gloves (m) for quite substantially increased kph.
* Use Damage Reduction Potion IV for 10% extra DR.

* If you are unable to obtain Meteorite Bolts, use the highest level bolts you can obtain.

* If you are using all the gear from the first column, you can replace Holy Aegis with Avidity. This is not 100%, but has a very small chance of death, around 0.01 deaths/hour.

* For complete safety in hardcore mode, apply the following changes:
** Level Hitpoints to 120.
** Level Agility to 120.
** The Point of Interest from AoDAtlas of Discovery Expansion is not required.
** Use the Prayers Stone Skin & Holy Aegis
** Gather the following Pets Leonardo, Erran, Finn, Kiko.
** Replace Ring of Power with Palladium Runestone Ring. Make sure it is in your passive slot and not your ring slot since it has -1% DR, but when in the passive slot, you do not lose 1% DR.
** Replace (P) Corundum Shield with (P) Augite Shield.
** Replace Glacia God Gloves with (U) Elderwood Vambraces.
Always make sure to double-check your setup in the Combat Simulator. <br>

This is the first TotHThrone of the Herald Expansion dungeon where an idle setup for the first clear is near impossible. Stats will be capped at 108 and you'll need 110 for the next big upgrades. Seeing as focusing on skilling should be avoided as much as possible, dungeon/dropped gear is as good as it gets.

Why Idle This?

Dungeon Mechanics

Like most dungeons, Lair of the Spider Queen has many weaker enemies before sending the strongest enemy at you, which in this case is Spider Queen. Normally, you would pick a specific combat style to fight the enemies to get the full advantage of the combat triangle, but in this dungeon, you can't. The Spider Queen has a unique mechanic where they will have a random combat triangle each time.

Minimum Recommended Levels

Things that greatly impact KPH

All these changes add up to about 12-13 KPH.

Recommended Buffs

Astrology

As many combat bonuses from Astrology constellations are recommended. In total, Astrology serves as a massive buff to combat and will make the fight easier. The main bonuses are:

Agility

Idle Gear

This particular build only works in standard mode. This exact setup is not completely safe in hardcore or adventure mode due to the harder Combat Triangle

Always make sure to double-check your setup in the Combat Simulator.

Disclaimer: Gem slot is not required but recommended.

Ancient Relics Guide

This is the first Throne of the Herald Expansion dungeon where an idle setup for the first clear is near impossible. Stats will be capped at 108 and you'll need 110 for the next big upgrades. Seeing as focusing on skilling should be avoided as much as possible, dungeon/dropped gear is as good as it gets.

You will need to Manually Eat this dungeon and the suggested setup does assume this.
