The Ancient Sanctuary is the first of the Throne of the Herald Expansion Dungeons. In addition to the rewards provided with each completion of this dungeon, the first completion allows the fourth Extra Equipment Set upgrade to be purchased from the Shop, and also unlocks the Poison Pods spell from the Archaic Magicks spellbook. After 100 completions, the Natures Bloom spell from the same spellbook is also unlocked.
