Changing equipment sets to be able to fight each monster with Combat Triangle advantage can lower the required levels, especially Hitpoints required to clear the dungeon efficiently. The player should already have setups available from clearing each monster in the Lava Lake, but they will look similar to the following Magic build.

Rewards
Completing this dungeon unlocks the Lightning Region dungeon.

With listed Relics there is no death chance using the Standard Guide setup with Astrology, Agility, Hitpoints. Fully idle-able.
With swapping the Passive Slot to Wasteful Ring there is no death chance using the Standard Guide setup. Fully idle-able.

You can also use Cloudburst Staff instead of Ocean Song/Shield of Magic Power combo. This results in 0.05 deaths per hour, which is completely negligible.

Dungeon Mechanics

Similar to the last dungeon, the Underground Lava Lake harkens back to base game combat, it is a relatively simple dungeon that can is designed to be completed in the early game of the expansion. This means the dungeon does not require advanced tactics, high levels, or complete optimization. Each monster is pulled directly from the associated Slayer Area, and as the player has been forced to fight each of these monsters before, they should be well versed in their dangers.

Intimidation
Just like every other monster in the , each enemy in the Underground Lava Lake has a passive effect that reduces the player's Damage Reduction. When in combat with Trogark, the player's base damage reduction is reduced by 20%, before any modifiers from the Combat Triangle.

Manual Clear

Manually clearing the Underground Lava Lake is a good way to get to the next dungeon, Lightning Region, as soon as possible.

Standard Guide

This guide was written up to make the dungeon easily clearable fresh into Throne of the Herald Expansion. It is idleable with the stats and gear provided.
You'll need at least 1,110 HP and 67% Damage Reduction to safely idle this dungeon.

Stats

Used for this guide:

 • Magic Level 100
 • Defence Level 100
 • Hitpoints Level 100
 • Prayer Level 100
 • Agility Level 80 (higher makes the clears somewhat faster)
