Why clear Deep Sea Ship?
Deep Sea Ship (Level 30)
The Deep Sea Ship dungeon is usually farmed for the Sunset Rapier, which is an upgrade after the Dragon Sword or Dragon Claw.

The dungeon has two other notable uses.
This guide is written around the restrictions of the AoD Ancient Relics game mode, but intended to serve for players playing in Standard Mode.

* Obtaining some of the Amulet of Torture for Fury of the Elemental Zodiacs
The Ancient Relics game mode restricts the players maximum Levels for Combat Skills to to 10 + the number of Dungeons completed. For this Dungeon, the players Combat Skills will be capped at a maximum of 30, and the guide will assume all non-combat skills are of a similar level.
before setting out to kill Fierce Devil.

* Getting the Ancient Sword if you want to save on food. Due to its low drop chance, it's usually done only if you really need it, for instance if you play HCCO.
If you're playing Ancient Relics you will need to manual eat this dungeon just like almost every other dungeon.
The idle requirements are technically possible but very impractical.

Gear
Equipment
Although you can beat the dungeon with any combat style, we advise that you use Magic because the final boss The Kraken has high evasion against Melee and Ranged.
With combat skills still being very low, the player's options haven't changed too much from the previous dungeon, but they do have a little more room to improve their equipment with accessories from additional monsters. Once again, its not necessary to hunt down every scrap of beneficial equipment since so much will be replaced quickly, but the following is an approximation of the best available equipment at this stage of the game.

For instance, while your Hitpoints expenditure per hour with Melee might be a quarter of what Magic spends, the number of clears with Melee would be about half of Magic. For this dungeon, the difference in food is essentially negligible in terms of time needed to produce it, so Magic is recommended.
* Golbin Thief, and Wolf, and the appropriate one of Minotaur, Centaur, or Witch made in Summoning are large boosts to damage for any combat style, which can help with taking down the dungeon's boss.

Check your build with Can I Idle to see if you can idle the dungeon.

As an example, you need 680 HP with Auto Eat - Tier II to idle this dungeon without any Damage Reduction.
Magic
Magic is suggested for this dungeon due to Combat Triangle advantage.

Clear Statistics
This section will give you the approximate numbers when clearing the dungeon with the following build:

Remember that this is a bare minimum setup, its fairly easy to be higher than 65 Magic, and any Prayer, Agility, Herblore, or Astrology can increase your clear speeds and decrease your food consumption.

Summoning in particular can be a massive increase, simply adding Witch takes the above build from 20 to 25 Pirate Booty per hour, a 25% clear speed buff
* (G) Adamant Helmet is created with the items obtained from Adamant Knight and Silver Bar and Gold Bar found with either Statue or Smithing.
** Adamant Knight, unlilke its predecessor the Mithril Knight, is not as difficult, and is MUCH more generous with handing out the required equipment.
** Adamant Scimitar can also be acquired from Township.
* Silver Ruby Necklace and Silver Ruby Ring from Crafting.

For the Standard game mode, the only difference is that you spend less food.

With the clear speed of 21 dungeons per hour, you will need approximately 6.5 hours to have a 50% chance of getting Sunset Rapier.

Deep Sea Ship (Level 30)

This guide is written around the restrictions of the Ancient Relics game mode, but intended to serve for players playing in Standard Mode.

The Ancient Relics game mode restricts the players maximum Levels for Combat Skills to to 10 + the number of Dungeons completed. For this Dungeon, the players Combat Skills will be capped at a maximum of 30, and the guide will assume all non-combat skills are of a similar level.

If you're playing Ancient Relics you will need to manual eat this dungeon just like almost every other dungeon. The idle requirements are technically possible but very impractical.

Equipment

With combat skills still being very low, the player's options haven't changed too much from the previous dungeon, but they do have a little more room to improve their equipment with accessories from additional monsters. Once again, its not necessary to hunt down every scrap of beneficial equipment since so much will be replaced quickly, but the following is an approximation of the best available equipment at this stage of the game.

Magic

Magic is suggested for this dungeon due to Combat Triangle advantage.
