The Ancient Claw is a powerful melee weapon requiring Level 70 to wield. It can be acquired by combining 100 Ancient Claw Fragments which are dropped by Pegasi. As Pegasi are in the High Lands, a Slayer area requiring Level 60 to access, there is effectively a Level 60 requirement to wield an Ancient Claw.

In order to acquire the 100 Ancient Claw Fragments necessary to craft an Ancient Claw, an average of 5,000 Pegasi must be killed, provided the player has no bonuses to their drop chance.
If the player has a chance to receive double loot from monsters due Chapeau Noir, Aorpheat's Signet Ring or the Golden Golbin pet, the average number of kills to collect enough fragments will decrease. (Note that due to the High Lands requiring a Magical Ring to access, the Signet Ring can only be worn while fighting Pegasus if the player is wearing the Slayer Skillcape, requiring Level 99, instead)
With all three boosts, the expected number of kills to receive 100 Ancient Claw Fragments can be reduced to 4,310.
