Introduction

This guide is meant to be used as rough guidelines for when dungeons can be reasonably completed. We leave it up to you to decide yourself if you are ready or not. Many of these dungeons can be completed with lower stats and lower tiered equipment than shown, but that could mean the clear time of the dungeon would be significantly slower or have much more chance of killing your character.

DR%(Damage Reduction %) is a stat often overlooked by new players as not many low level armors provide it. DR% is very helpful to have early on, allowing you to complete dungeons with lower health levels. And it is an absolute necessity for survival when you are tackling the most difficult dungeons Melvor has on offer. DR% is most easily accessible from upgrading Armor to (G) eg. (G) Steel Helmet.

If you would like to make sure you are able to survive, there are great tools created by our community available at Spreadsheets and Theorycrafting.

Chicken Coop

Mumma Chicken (monster).svg Chicken Coop is the easiest dungeon available in Melvor Idle. It doesn’t offer much in the way of a challenge or rewards, but it is a good introduction to dungeon mechanics. While it is possible to complete Chicken Coop with no prior investment in your combat skills, we recommend at least familiarizing yourself with combat mechanics before tackling this dungeon.

Dragons Den

Dragons Den (dungeon).svg Dragons Den is the first big step up in difficulty over previous dungeons you should be familiar with at this point. Many players grow to loath Dragons den as the low drop rate of Twin Exiles and Ancient Crossbow force them to continue clearing the dungeon longer than they would like. From here forwards, using equipment with DR% is an absolute must along with AutoEat 3.

Water God Dungeon

Water God Dungeon (dungeon).svg Water God Dungeon Get Ready to get Wet!
it is not possible to idle with melee, listed gear will get you through while manually eating but its super hard.
Magic also is difficult to idle with against water dungeon, we are talking a T4 DR pot minimum. listed gear set will get you there if you use the DR pot. but we dont advise it.

Earth God Dungeon

Earth God Dungeon (dungeon).svg Earth God Dungeon He will Rock you.
using melee is hella wack against earth dungeon, you need BIS gear for every slot to even think about it, and then theres still a risk youll die. dont do it man, its not worth it.
Ranged against earth is within the realm of possibility to idle, but you are going to need to use the DR prayer, and have an earth shield. its a lot to set up

Fire God Dungeon

Fire God Dungeon (dungeon).svg Fire God Dungeon Is it Hot in here?
melee against fire god is bad news, this gear set will get you through if you manually eat but its rough stuff.
magic is in the same boat as melee, this will get you a manual clear but you wont have fun.
ranged is your boy here, the listed gear here is 1DR% short of a safe idle, so if you have yourself a little turtle friend youll be home free.
