This page goes through the general method and tips of training the Thieving skill.
Equipment
There is no requirement to start Thieving.
Boosters
The 
Firemaking Skillcape provides an additional 5% experience to all skills.
The 
Thieving Skillcape reduces base thieving interval by 0.5s
The 
Gentle Hands Potion provides an increased chance for doubling items rewarded
The 
Snek pet provides an additional 50% gold while thieving.
The 
Gloves of Silence provides a 5% increase success chance on enemies, and an additional 150gp to each successful theft.
The 
Thieving Gloves purchased from the [Shop#Gloves] provide a 10% increase in success chance on enemies and allows success rate to go beyond the 95% cap.
