Farming lets you farm crops and trees.

Mastery Unlocks

Farming Mastery has an effect on a number of things. The first is that it increases the harvest quantity, both of crops and seeds. The second is that after mastery level 50 you don't need to compost the crop anymore.

Crop Harvest Quantity

The harvest quantity is calculated by this formula:

floor(5 + (mastery * 0.4))

Seed Return Chance

Starting at level 11 Mastery, there is a chance to get crop seeds back from harvesting. Higher levels of mastery increase the chance and quantity of seeds that are returned. At level 70 Mastery an average of 3 seeds are returned on harvest and farming that crop becomes self sustainable.

The average number of seeds returned can be calculated by:

AverageSeeds = n/x*(x - (n+1)/2). Where x = masteryLevel/10 and n = floor(x).

Farming Areas

In the beginning there's only one farming area available, with more areas opening up as the player levels up their Farming skill.
