The Trading Post is a Township building. It enables access to the Trader tab, which allows the player to convert items into Township resources and vice-versa. The Trader is available every 8 hours (96 ticks) for 1 hour (12 ticks), meaning that there are 7 hours (84 ticks) between each visit. Having additional buildings increases the amount of items that can be obtained via the trader.

The PAGENAME is a Township building. When built, it enables access to the trader within the Township skill, from which players can trade their Township resources for Consumables that can be used within other Skills. Each PAGENAME built reduces the cost of trades by 0.33% of the base cost.
Only items that have already been discovered in the Completion Log may be given to the Town to increase the Town's resources.

Only items that have been discovered 10,000 times may be obtained from the Town. All items' trading value is based on their coin value, except for food, which is based on healing value, and except for Rune Essence, Pure Essence, Leather and Dragonhide. A maximum amount of 500000 worth of items per Trading Post may be obtained every 8 hours, up to a maximum of 100000000 (200 Trading Posts). This amount will accumulate without limit every 8 hours.

When creating tablets, before cost reductions, a total of 1000 worth of non-shard item ingredients needs to be supplied per craft, with the exception that the value of items worth less than 20 are considered to have a value of 20. In the case of items that can be bought via the Trading Post, except for , it is much more cost-efficient efficient to buy the cheapest resource than it is to buy higher-tier items. More specifically, one should buy Normal Logs, Garum Herbs, Copper Ore and Bronze Bars to make Ent, Mole, Bear and Salamander tablets.
