In order to begin finding Lost Chests, the player has to either upgrade their Fishing Rod to at least {{UpgradeIcon|Corundum Fishing Rod|Corundum}} (requires {{SkillReq|Fishing|100}}) or wear the {{ItemIcon|Superior Fishing Skillcape}} (requires {{SkillReq|Fishing|120}}).
