Travelling around the map costs {{GP}} and the total for every path taken is shown before you move to a new Hex. As the game progresses, you will find ways to reduce travel costs, but early in the game these costs can seem quite high. Each Hex has a different base cost, and you can see the cost of each tile on this map.
In the map, the colors represent the base {{GP}} costs associated with each tile.
