Example: up to Dragon Javelins
Routes information
This section presents a path from the very start to money-making with Dragon Javelin. Producing them is one of the most profitable money-making methods that don't require you to have the end-game gear. If your goal is the full completion, then the Adventure is about getting the best money-making method as fast as possible. The given strategy is one of the ways towards it.
This section presents a path from the very start to money-making with one of the best money-making methods in the game. If your goal is the 100% completion, then it is about getting the best money-making method as fast as possible. The given routes are one of the ways to do it.

TL;DR: Cooking to get to fighting lvl 50 > Slayer > Mining to get gem gloves > Smithing > Gem gloves till AE 2 > Autolooting > Rune > Magic > Prayer > Combat level 99 > Woodcutting > Fletching.
Example: Thieving
Get Potatoes from Plant. When you have 100 Potatoes, try Cow.
Unlock route: Fishing > Cooking > Thieving > Mining > Smithing > Slayer > Prayer > Combat level 99

Kill Cow, then unlock Cooking. It will save you a ton of gathering and clicking because Beef heals 16 times better than Potatoes.
Get Potatoes from Plant. When you have 100 Potatoes, switch to Cow.

After you got Beef by cooking drops from Cows, get Bronze Battleaxe and Bronze Shield from Golbin.
Kill Cow, loot all including Leather, buy Green Dragonhide and then sell it.

In general, if the mentioned monster is hard, use Cow to level up more before trying it again.
Unlock Fishing. It will be the source for Cooking.

Get Iron Platebody and Iron Platelegs from Zombie Hand.
Sell fish to unlock Cooking. It will give food to do Thieving.

Get Steel Platebody from Zombie.
Sell fish to unlock Thieving.

Get the rest of the Steel armor and weapon set from Steel Knight.
It is not easy to figure out whom to pickpocket with Thieving to get the most of money. Use Nomeru's sheet on Thieving from Spreadsheets_and_Theorycrafting to decide whom to target. Keep in mind that the results in early game are drastically different from what is given on the sheet - you need to copy the sheet and enter your current situation.

Unlock Mining and Smithing. With them you can create your own armor and weapons.

Unlock Slayer and get Amulet of Strength and Gold Emerald Ring from Mummy.
Unlock Slayer and get Amulet of Strength and Gold Emerald Ring from Mummy.

Get Ice Sword from Ice Monster. It will hit hard, but if you can survive it and deal damage at a decent rate, do it.
Transition into Mithril Helmet and then Adamant Helmet armor. Trim your resulting armor up to Gold (G).

Set your character name to "witwix" and get Chest of Witwix from Leech. If your name is "witwix", you will always get Amulet of Calculated Promotion from this chest.

Unlock Mining and Smithing. With them unlocked, transition into Mithril and then Adamant armor. If you are strong enough, farm Master Farmer instead of Cows to sell the seeds. Trim your armor up to Gold.
After that, you might want to get to Combat level 99 to upgrade your Thieving options. For that, unlock Prayer and level Melee together with prayers. Use the most expensive and relevant prayers you have. Chivalry and Piety are the best options to level up Prayer: the options that spend fewer prayer points have lower rate of prayer-xp-per-point and will slow down your combat.

At this point your Combat level should be more than 50, so you can farm Mithril Ore. Farm it until you can buy Gem Gloves, then keep them always active when mining and mine more to get Auto Eat 2. This step is aimed at the idle style of play. If you want to manually farm Spider Dungeon, you can do that instead.
Level up your Combat.<br>
Fight the following monsters:
* Attack Level 1-9 .
* Attack Level 10-49 .
* Attack Level 50-99 .
You can check out the Combat Simulator to see which monster is the best for your situation. Don't forget to consider the food expenditure.

Get your Hitpoints to the level when you can Idle Spider Forest. Get Amulet of Looting from Spider Chest. Now you can idle your food production.
As an example of Combat Level 99, the following combination was enough: Attack 77, Strength 75, Defence 79, Hitpoints 77, Prayer 91.

Unlock Runecrafting, Magic, and Prayer by mining with the Gem Gloves.
The later upgrades of money-making with Thieving consist of Herblore, Agility, and Summoning. It's up to you to decide in which order to unlock them and the other skills they need. Nomeru's sheet on Thieving from Spreadsheets_and_Theorycrafting will come in handy to compare the improvements.

Get prayer points through Alt Magic. Use the prayers that are most expensive and useful: Chivalry and Piety are the best options to level up Prayer: the options that spend fewer prayer points are both slower and have lower rate of prayer-xp-per-point.
Example: Dragon Javelins
Level up your Combat. A Tentacle or a Giant Crab are good choices, but if you want the best option, check out Combat Simulator to see which monster is the best for your situation. Don't forget to consider the food expenditure.
Unlock route: Fishing > Cooking > Mining > Smithing > Slayer > Rune > Magic > Prayer > Combat level 99 > Woodcutting > Fletching.

Get your combat up to level 99. For instance, the following combination was enough for it: Attack 77, Strength 75, Defence 79, Hitpoints 77, Prayer 91.
Most of the things are the same as in the Example: Thieving, but we don't unlock Thieving, and we use Alt. Magic to get prayer points.

Unlock Woodcutting and Fletching by mining the same Mithril Ore with Gem Gloves.
After you unlocked Slayer, unlock Runecrafting, Magic, and Prayer.

Level up the unlocked skills to create Dragon Javelin.
Get prayer points through from Alt. Magic.

Get your combat up to level 99.

Unlock Woodcutting and Fletching.

The skill routes below are viable, but if you don't like suffering, you might want to do the math or ask people about how hard it would be because it is possible to lock yourself with months of dull grind if you make several wrong unlocks.
Level up the unlocked skills to start earning money with Dragon Javelin.
