Manual Build
At the moment the best option is to go through Ancient Sanctuary manually if you want to get access to the next dungeon
Underground Lava Lake as soon as possible.
With optimal setup you should be able to idle most of it barring equipment switches for optimal combat triangle.
There are a total of 6 different monsters you will be fighting and they are all from the slayer area Jungle Labyrinth
Maxed out Astrology perks to at least lvl 99 is optimal as well as the same
Agility bonuses used in
Impending Darkness Event
Recommended Hitpoints would be 105 or higher
Magic
You'll be using this build for only 2 monsters Kongamato (4 times) and
Conda (3 times). Both have really low Magic evasiveness so they should be quick kills for either setup.
The magic set up is assuming you have above 110 magic and 114 runecrafting. If not then it's certainly possible to complete the dungeon with the same gear as Impending Darkness Event but it's best to try and make as many easy upgrades as possible.
Consumables:
Diamond Luck Potions
Divination and
Holy Aegis
Fire Surge
Siren and
Dragon
Witch and
Dragon
Optional
Summoning tablets aren't absolutely necessary for these fights however if you have lower gear then it would be recommended.
Use Divination and
Holy Aegis prayers or the highest level appropriate alternatives you have available
Unless you have the Meteorite Staff to be able to use the archaic spell
Meteor Shower then
Fire Surge is the best spell to use at the moment.
The (P) Divine Shield has the same debuffs as
Earth Layered Shield however provides a huge increase in Defense Bonus as well as Damage Reduction making it the optimal shield. If you don't have the smithing level required for Divine then
(P) Corundum Shield and
(P) Augite Shield are good upgrades.
You can use Calamity Wand assuming you have the runecrafting level. Almost any wand above level 100 runecrafting is better than
Ocean Song so if you're able definitely go for that first.
Ranged
Only used for 1 monster being the Poison Toad (5 times). You should have no trouble with it so just sit back and watch.
Consumables:
Diamond Luck Potions
Avidity and
Holy Aegis
Jadestone Bolts or anything above like
Onyx Bolts
Siren and
Dragon
Centaur and
Dragon
Optional
Summoning tablets aren't absolutely necessary for these fights however if you have lower gear then it would be recommended.
Use Avidity and
Holy Aegis prayers or the highest level appropriate alternatives you have available
For ammo anything that's Jadestone Bolts up to
Zephyte Bolts is good, just use your most powerful bolt available to you at the moment.
The recommended items in the list are items that are attainable with skilling and are definitely worth the grind to attain them. The dungeon is possible with Impending Darkness Event gear but to maximize the easiness it's recommended to grind out some levels for upgrades.
Melee
Melee is used the most here so having the best upgrades you can will be crucial to clearing this dungeon.
You'll be facing 3 monsters; Hungry Plant (6 times),
Alraune (2 times), and the Dungeon Boss
Morellia
Consumables:
Diamond Luck Potions
Valor and
Holy Aegis
Siren and
Dragon
Minotaur and
Dragon
Necessary
Summoning tablets are recommended for these fights especially against Morellia
Use Valor and
Holy Aegis prayers or the highest level appropriate alternatives you have available
The Tormented Ring is recommended because of the maxed out Divine Armour and the defense bonus more than makes up for the (-50) defense loss. If you have anything less than Divine then I would stick with the
Ring of Blade Echoes as it's still a top ring.
I would also put the Divine Sword above the
Tidal Edge just due to the strength bonus. It has a stab bonus (+120) almost equal to the Tidal Edge's slash (+124) however it also provides a Defense bonus of (+6) and the Special Attack is notable and arguably better than Tidal Edge. You could also use Tidal Edge for the melee evasion debuff and then switch to the Divine Sword to finish the fight.
Morellia
The fight can be little drawn out due to her healing ability from both Poison Lifesteal and Afflicted Vitality. Maxed out DPS is necessary otherwise she will continually heal back to full.
The main attack that can be deadly is Seeking Roots dealing 1000 damage without DR. As long as you have the same food and auto eat efficiency as used in Impending Darkness Event then you shouldn't have to manually eat.
Idle Build
Now I tried to keep the idle build to be nothing too outrageous and pretty attainable even after just completing the dungeon for the first time.
Recommended stats:
We will be using the Melee build as it is the style used for the majority of the fights as well as the boss.

Diamond Luck Potions
Elusivity and
Holy Aegis
Siren and
Dragon
Minotaur and

Summoning tablets are recommended for idling but with the setup above not absolutely necessary.
If you don't have the Ultima Godsword then it is HIGHLY recommended to grind
Spectral Ice Wolf for the
Spectral Ice Sword as it is a huge upgrade and the future upgrade off that will be desired.
Note: With this build above I was able to complete 234 dungeons in 24 hours idle. So roughly ~10 clears an hour. With the Spectral Ice Sword it was ~8 clears an hour.
