Fishing: Highest exp fish you can catch up till fanfish. Then cave fish, manta, whales.

Firemaking: Best log up to yew and then then yews to 99 (you will have enough from 99 woodcutting). If you have no logs left and need to factor in woodcutting time its redwood > magics > yew.

Addy and Rune can be higher exp/hr at high (80+) mastery levels or with potions.
 
Smithing: Highest bar up to mithril and then mith plates to 99.
Approx 50k mithil ore and 200k coal is required
 
Thieving: Highest target, although you generally want farmer till 80 for seeds.
 
Farming: Highest for each plot, compost is advised to prevent crop death.
Gloop is recommended for more exp and more yield.
 
*Recommend to keep snapes and carrots for herblore
 
Fletching: Highest level shortbow or longbow you can make.
Stringing bows is recommend to prevent cutting more logs (even at a loss)
 
Crafting: Highest exp leather or hard leather item you can make till lvl 57.
57-60 green vambs
60-63 green chaps
63-71 green bodies
71-77 blue bodies
77-99 red bodies
 
Runecrafting:
Method 1: Highest rune you can make, switching each time you unlock a new rune.
Approx 250k ess required
 
Method 2: Make even mix of earth/fire runes and turn into lava runes till 99.
Approx 200k ess required

Introduction

This page goes through the general method and tips of training the Woodcutting skill. Woodcutting is used to generate logs which are primarily used in the skills Firemaking and Fletching. Woodcutting also has the chance to produce Bird Nests which can be opened for Seeds for Farming or sold for Making Money

Equipment

There is no requirement to start Woodcutting. One should always use the best Axe available for purchase in the Shop.

Also available in the Shop is Multi-Tree which allows two trees to be cut at the same time, increasing the experience and logs gained per hour.

Boosters

The Firemaking Skillcape provides an additional 5% experience to all skills.
The Woodcutting Skillcape reduces base woodcutting interval by 15%
