Just curious - but could a section on mining gloves be added? If the player could afford it from mining gems, wouldn't mining Rune Essence with Mining gloves and then mining coal be faster?  
Just curious - but could a section on mining gloves be added? If the player could afford it from mining gems, wouldn't mining Rune Essence with Mining gloves and then mining coal be faster?  


It would be around 82,500 actions (30 hrs @ 1.3 actions/sec) of x4 essence with gloves compared to 165,000 actions (60 hrs @ 1.3 actions/sec) of x2.
Assumptions:
 
* The player is wearing the mining cape and has no double drops, no gem drops outside gem gloves.
 
* 1.3 sec/action.
 
* Avg. profit of 131 gp/charge of gem gloves.
Now considering the player is short ~160k coal instead of ~80k, that would be 80k (30 hrs) / 40k (15 hrs) coal mining actions.
 
Assuming x2 Essence, x1 coal /action, x2 Coal / Action or x4 essence, x4 coal/action. 1.3 sec/action. Avg. profit of 131 gp/charge of gem gloves.
