Snek is a pet acquired through Thieving. The +50% extra gold provided by Snek is additive with the bonuses from Thieving Mastery, Agility obstacles, and 
Aorpheat's Signet Ring, and multiplicative with the additional 
150 gained when 
Gloves of Silence are equipped.
The best enemy to pickpocket to acquire Snek is the one that the player has the highest success rate for, as this maximises the number of successful pickpocket attempts over time. 
Thieving Gloves may also be used to further increase the success rate.
