The Sailor's Top is a piece of Equipment obtained from 
Thieving. When equipped, it reduces the chance to acquire special items by 8% while 
Fishing.
While a reduction in special item chance is usually considered a negative, this may be beneficial if the player's aim is to maximise the amount of fish caught, as a lower chance to obtain special items consequently means a higher chance to obtain fish.
