The Orchard is a Township building that produces Food. Although it can only be produced in a limited number of biomes, it produces by far the most food, even into the higher levels. It has a 10% production bonus in the Jungle biome.

The competing food buildings are the Farmland, the Fishermans Dock and the Farmers Market.

This building has 6.67% more production than the Farming Estate, and has the same amount of production as the Fishermans Estate, but neither of these buildings have any biome-specific production bonuses.

The Farmers Market is generally only optimal with a very large Population on the order of 30,000.
