Combat can yield some of the highest GP rates in the game. Due to the complexity of combat, exact rates are difficult to determine, but some of the highest GP rate targets are as follows: Infernal Stronghold, Master Farmer, Black Dragon.

When you reach the endgame in combat, it becomes the best money making method.
The two items that make this method good are Chapeau Noir and Aorpheat's Signet Ring.
The 2 items that make this money making method really good are Chapeau Noir and Aorpheat's Signet Ring.
(Infernal Stronghold got nerfed in Patch v0.19: Malcs, the Leader of Dragons now drops 100K - 150K GP on death, down from 150K - 225K GP. Resulting in 125,000 less gp/clear or around 18% reduced gp/hr)
Calculating the specific gp/hr depends on your stats, your gear and what method you want to use.
Using the Combat Simulator in Scripting and Extensions is very powerfull. And can show you, mainly for this, how many kills/hr you are doing.
The one of the most valuable dungeons to farm is the Infernal Stronghold
The reason for this is that it drops a lot of pure gp, which gets doubled with the Aorpheat's Signet Ring.
Dropping 100,000 to 150,000 gp, average is then 125,000. Double that is 250,000 gp/clear.
On top of that it drops 1 Infernal Cape and 1 Infernal Core.
The cape is worth 250,000 gp (which you can High Alchemy III for 1,6 times the value at a total of 400,000gp)
The core is only worth 1,500gp.
The 5% and 10% chance for double loot from the Chapeau Noir and Aorpheat's Signet Ring doesn't work on the cape.
Meaning clearing Infernal Stronghold will grant you 250,000+400,000+1,500gp = 651,500gp/clear.

Although the extension is advised to be used for your own character, some setups will be listed below. All of the sets listed will have Aorpheat's Signet Ring in ring slot with no passive slot (unless mentioned), Prayer, or Herblore.
Calculating the specific GP/hr depends on your stats and gear.
The Combat Simulator in Scripting and Extensions can help you to calculate the gains for your build.

One of the most profitable dungeons is the Infernal Stronghold because it drops a lot of pure GP that gets doubled with the Aorpheat's Signet Ring. The pure GP gain with the ring is 250,000 per clear.

It also drops the Infernal Cape and the Infernal Core that will net you 402,400 additional GP per clear if sold with Item Alchemy III. The doubling chances don't work on them.

For one clear Infernal Stronghold will yield a total of 250,000 + 402,400 = 652,400 GP per clear.

Some of the setups are listed below, but it is advised to use The Combat Simulator to check your build. By default, all of the listed setups have Aorpheat's Signet Ring in the ring slot with no passive slot, Prayer, or Herblore.

99 Magic, using Water Surge (10,380 runes/hr), 19,42 kills/hr = 12,652,130 gp/hr

Remember to take the crafting of runes into account. Looking at the Max Magic right above 10,380 runes at maxed mining and runecrafting takes around 20min to get, 5min mining essence and 15min runecrafting. Putting it down to a efficient 9,5mil gp/hr
The time required to mine and craft runes was not accounted in the calculations above. For instance, the build above uses 10,380 runes: at maxed mining and runecrafting it will take around 5min mining essence and 15min runecrafting. The resulting gain is then adjusted to 9,5mil gp/hr
