Larry, the Lonely Lizard is a pet acquired through Farming. Unlike many other non-combat pets, the chance to acquire Larry is:

The +5 bonus to harvest quantity from Larry is applied:

• After the +10% increased harvest amount provided when using Weird Gloop
• After the +20% increased harvest amount unlocked from achieving 99 item mastery in a crop
• After the +20% increased harvest amount obtained when wearing any of Farming Skillcape, Max Skillcape, or Cape of Completion
• After any effects that have a chance to double harvest quantity, from items such as Generous Harvest Potions, and Aorpheat's Signet Ring
• Before the +5% increased harvest amount unlocked from reaching the 50% Farming Mastery Pool checkpoint
