Larry, the Lonely Lizard is a pet acquired through Farming. Unlike many other non-combat pets, the chance to acquire Larry is:

Where [math]\displaystyle{ \text{Crop Growth Time} }[/math] is the number of seconds taken to grow before any growth time reduction bonuses from Farming Mastery are applied.

This chance is rolled once for each quantity of a crop you harvest, thus the chance on a harvest is:

The bonus to harvest quantity from Larry is applied after all other bonuses to harvest quantity, being:

• +10% increased harvest amount provided when using Weird Gloop
• +20% increased harvest amount unlocked from achieving 99 item mastery in a crop
• +5% increased harvest amount unlocked from reaching the 50% Farming Mastery Pool checkpoint
• +20% increased harvest amount obtained when wearing any of Farming Skillcape, Max Skillcape, or Cape of Completion
• Any effects that have a chance to double harvest quantity, from items such as Generous Harvest Potions, and Aorpheat's Signet Ring
