Fishing Guide
This guide shows the methods of training the Fishing skill. Fishing early is a efficient money maker based on time used to level up, in comparison to other money makers.
Theres allso 2 very powerfull rings. Ancient Ring of Skills and Ancient Ring of Mastery. These will boost your progress in every other skill by quite alot. But are very rare. You can fish them at a 0.01% chance whenever you fish up a special fish.
Equipment
There is no requirement to start Fishing. One should always use the best Fishing Rod available for purchase in the Shop.
Boosters
The Firemaking Skillcape provides an additional 5% experience to all skills.
The Pirates Lost Ring provides 15% experience when equipped (You find this while fishing).
The Amulet of Fishing provides 20% decreased Fishing interval (You find this while fishing).
The Fishing Skillcape doubles the amount of fish caught.
The Fishermans Potion reduces the chance to catch junk, therefore increasing catch rate. The chance increases based on the level of Fishermans Potion. A level of 40 Herblore is required.
Training
You only get 1 exp if you fish up Junk. So you want to eliminate that chance. This can be done with Fishing Potions. But easiest if you get that fish mastery to 65. At that point you no longer catch junk.
As theres so many diffrent fish, you get mastery points quite fast.
I would recommend to spend your mastery pool exp on getting a fish to 65 as fast as you can when you swap to it.
Efficient Maxing guide
As you are allready on the wiki looking for a guide to level fishing, i wont hide the spoiler.
If you dont want a secret spoiled dont read anymore on this page.
Theres a 0.15% chance when fishing a special that you will get a Message in a Bottle. This will unlock a secret area with 3 fish in it.
This area has a very high chance of catching more specials. Which means you have a much bigger chance to get the very powerfull rings.
The first of the 3 fish in the area is the Raw Seahorse, at 15 fishing. 
Raw Skeleton Fish at 45 fishing and Raw Magic Fish at 80 fishing.
Its rare that you get the message before you are level 40 fishing. But if you do then congratulations. Pray to the RNG gods that you get the Ancient Ring of Skills and continue to fish Raw Skeleton Fish til you just cant anymore.
Raw Magic Fish are worth more, so if you are needing some cash they are good to swap to.
