Fishing Guide
This guide shows the methods of training the Fishing skill. Fishing early is a efficient money maker based on time used to level up, in comparison to other money makers.
Equipment
There is no requirement to start Fishing. One should always use the best Fishing Rod available for purchase in the Shop. The Firemaking Skillcape provides an additional 5% experience to all skills. The Pirates Lost Ring provides 15% experience when equipped.
The Fishing Skillcape doubles the amount of fish caught. The Amulet of Fishing provides 20% decreased Fishing interval.
Useful items
The Fishermans Potion reduces the chance to catch junk, and increases catch rate. The chance increases based on the level of Fishermans Potion. A level of 40 Herblore is required.
Training
Special Drop
This method is purely going for the special item. Going this path is to unlock the equipment gear.
Level 1-5
From level 1-5 one should fish 78 Raw Shrimp without any experience boosters.
Level 5-8
From level 5-8 one should fish 42 Raw Sardines without any experience boosters.
Level 8-30
From level 8-30 one should fish 1047 Raw Blowfishes without any experience boosters.
