When you explore this map you will unlock {{Icon|Dig site|Dig sites|nolink=true}}, and when you discover these POIs you will gain one map that unlocks a dig site. Some dig sites and points-of-interest will also need you to be a certain skill-level before they will allow you to excavate. For example, you can easily increase your {{Skill|Archaeology}} XP by excavating the {{Icon|Dig site|Dig sites|nolink=true}} that can be found close to your starting position in {{Skill|Cartography}}.
