This page is up to date (v1.2.2).

Melvor Cloud is the system used by Melvor Idle to back up saves in the cloud, and allows players to effortlessly play the same characters across multiple devices. A Melvor Cloud account is also required for players to be able to use premium benefits purchased on one platform (e.g. PC, Mobile, Steam, Epic) across other platforms. Once an account with Melvor Cloud is registered, the player must remain logged in to continue saving to the cloud. See the section of the FAQ which covers saving for more information.

Melvor Cloud will upload the player's save automatically every 12 hours. If desired, players can force an upload on demand by clicking the "Force Save" button found within the top-right corner of the page when signed in to Melvor Cloud.
